What makes us different? Why buy from us?
There aren’t many shops in this country from which you can buy beef that is born and bred in the same area that you live. There are several reasons why getting back to your roots and supporting local producers is a good idea, but the main reason has to be that it all just tastes so much better. We have run a small beef herd near Great Missenden in the Chilterns since the 1970s. We have now decided that its time we shared our amazing produce with a wider audience. Whether you are catering for a large gathering or just fancy a couple of steaks, place your order today.

Our herd:

• Totally Free Range, stress free, happy cattle
• Completely natural, no hormones or unnecessary antibiotics used
• Fed on a natural diet of oats and hay
• Fully traceable
• From well-bred pedigree stock
• Our cattle are checked 3 times a day
• Our calves are kept with their mothers for at least half their lives
• Our pastures have never been treated with pesticides, insecticides or fungicides
• FABBL registered farm

• If you would like a particular cut thats not listed, please just ask
• Recipes for all our wonderful cuts
• Our beef is hung on the bone for at least 31 days

• Our traditional natural production means very low food miles
• You are welcome to collect your beef from our butcher's shop in Prestwood
• Our produce is carefully packed in specialist boxes and sent to you overnight
